PacWest Machinery is recruiting for an outside Sales Representative to promote Volvo, Yanmar and Atlas Copco compact equipment lines. This position will be responsible for business development primarily in King County and will report into the Company’s branch in Kent, Washington.

More can be found at [please apply online] successful applicant will be responsible for representing the Company within a defined territory and delivering profitable sales and rental results, including:

Essential Duties:

• Sells and rents new and used compact equipment including mini excavators, tracked loaders, wheel loaders, portable power, attachments and allied equipment.
• Quotes and negotiates prices, delivers contracts and closes orders. Develops customer relationships and loyalty to increase long-term market share.
• Works with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their equipment needs.
• Provides on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support. Uses a Company-provided truck and trailer to facilitate customer demonstrations.
• Attends training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and special promotions. Controls sales expenses and keeps accurate and up-to-date information in the Company’s sales tracking system.

Compensation and Benefits:

Includes salary, commissions, 401(k) match, and medical and dental insurance. Employees receive paid time off including vacation, sick days and holidays.

Qualifications - the ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience in compact equipment sales or rental, but experience in a related equipment sector will be considered
• College degree preferred, although equipment sales experience may be substituted or combined with education.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to meet customers’ demands for timeliness and flexibility.
• A high level of energy and self-motivation.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, machine specification and ordering software and other internet-based programs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong references from former employers and colleagues.
